In India, The Concept Of Bail Is Governed By Statutory Provisions, Judicial Interpretations, And Constitutional Principles. This Research Paper Examines The Legal Framework Of Bail, Its Types, Judicial Approach, And Socio-legal Implications. It Also Highlights Issues Such As Misuse, Delays, Inequality In Access, And The Need For Reforms. The Study Concludes That While Bail Is A Right In Many Cases, Practical Challenges Undermine Its Effectiveness, Necessitating Structural And Policy-level Reforms.
