    IOT-ENABLED ADVANCED WATER QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM FOR POND MANAGEMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

    Abstract :

    The IoT-Enabled Water Quality Monitoring System Is Designed To Provide Real-time Monitoring Of Essential Water Parameters In Ponds, Lakes, And Similar Water Bodies To Support Effective Environmental Management. Maintaining Proper Water Quality Is Crucial For Aquatic Life, Human Use, And Ecosystem Balance. Traditional Water Testing Methods Depend On Manual Sampling, Which Is Slow, Labor-intensive, And Often Fails To Provide Timely Insights. This System Uses Multiple Sensors—pH Sensor, Temperature Sensor, Water Level Sensor, And LDR Intensity Sensor—to Continuously Monitor Water Conditions. An ESP32/ESP8266 Microcontroller Collects Sensor Data, Processes It, And Transmits The Information To A Local Server Using Telnet Communication. The Data Can Be Accessed In Real Time Through A Webpage Or Mobile Application Connected To The Local Network. Real-time Monitoring Allows Users To Observe Changes In Water Quality Instantly. Alerts Can Be Configured To Notify Users If Any Parameter Crosses Predefined Safe Limits, Enabling Quick Corrective Actions. The System Also Stores Historical Data, Which Helps In Analyzing Trends, Understanding Seasonal Variations, And Planning Better Water Resource Management. Using A Local Server With Telnet Communication Ensures Fast Data Access Without Reliance On The Internet, Making The System Reliable And Suitable For Remote Or Offline Environments. The Modular Design Allows Future Expansion By Adding More Sensors If Required. Overall, This IoT-based Solution Automates Water Quality Monitoring, Reduces Human Effort, Improves Accuracy, And Provides Timely, Actionable Data. It Is An Efficient, Low-cost, And User-friendly System For Modern Water Resource Monitoring And Environmental Conservation.
