Financial Feasibility Analysis Of 5G Network Infrastructure Investments In IndiaID: 3894 Abstract :This Study, Titled Financial Feasibility Analysis Of 5G Network Infrastructure Investments In India, Evaluates The Capital Structuring, Profitability Metrics, And Viability Parameters Of Deploying High-density 5G Cellular Infrastructure In The Indian Market. The Deployment Of 5G Networks Is Characterized By High Capital Intensity Due To Spectrum Acquisition Fees, Fiber Backhaul Installation, And GNodeB Active Equipment. Traditional Network Audits Must Adapt To Evaluate The Economic Feasibility Of 5G Installations Dynamically. A Five-year Project Lifecycle (2021-2025) Of A Telecom Cluster Deployment Is Analyzed Using Standard Capital Budgeting Metrics: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate Of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PBP), And Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR). Quantitative Metrics Indicate That Active Equipment And Fiber Backhaul Constitute 68% Of CapEx. While Initial Spectrum Fees Require Substantial Capital, 5G Standalone (SA) Systems Lower The Data Cost-to-serve Per GB To 0.4 INR, While Driving 5G ARPU To 285 INR By 2025. The Financial Model Yields A Positive NPV Of 284.5 Crores And An IRR Of 38.6%, Far Exceeding The 10% Cost Of Capital. The Study Concludes That 5G Infrastructure Investment Is Highly Feasible, Offering Telecom Operators Substantial Operational Efficiencies And Long-term Capital Viability In Indias Digital Services Market. |
