ENHANCING ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING AMONG ENGINEERING STUDENTS THROUGH GAME-BASED EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIESID: 3917 Abstract :The Increasing Demand For Effective Communication Skills In The Global Engineering Workforce Has Highlighted The Importance Of English Language Proficiency Among Engineering Students. Traditional Language Teaching Methods Often Struggle To Maintain Student Engagement And Motivation, Particularly In Technical Education Environments Where Learners Tend To Focus Primarily On Core Engineering Subjects. In Recent Years, Game-based Educational Technologies Have Emerged As Innovative Tools For Enhancing Learning Experiences By Promoting Active Participation, Collaboration, And Problemsolving Skills. These Technologies Integrate Educational Content With Interactive Gaming Elements, Creating Engaging Learning Environments That Encourage Continuous Practice And Knowledge Retention. This Study Investigates The Effectiveness Of Gamebased Educational Technologies In Enhancing English Language Learning Among Engineering Students. The Proposed Approach Incorporates Digital Games, Gamification Strategies, Interactive Quizzes, Simulations, And Language-learning Applications To Improve Vocabulary Acquisition, Grammar Comprehension, Reading Skills, Listening Ability, Speaking Confidence, And Overall Communication Competence. A Structured Learning Framework Is Designed To Evaluate Student Engagement, Academic Performance, And Language Proficiency Before And After The Implementation Of Game-based Learning Activities. The Findings Indicate That Students Exposed To Game-based Educational Technologies Demonstrate Higher Levels Of Motivation, Participation, And Language Achievement Compared With Those Taught Through Conventional Instructional Methods. Furthermore, The Interactive Nature Of Educational Games Promotes Collaborative Learning, Critical Thinking, And Selfdirected Learning Behaviors. The Study Concludes That Game-based Educational Technologies Provide An Effective And Engaging Approach To English Language Instruction For Engineering Students And Can Significantly Contribute To The Development Of Communication Skills Required In Academic, Professional, And Global Workplace Environments. |
